Terms of Service & Cancellation Policy
Effective for the Dogs & Deputies Event – September 20, 2025
By entering the event premises, all participants, vendors, sponsors, rescue organizations, volunteers, and spectators (“Attendees”) agree to the following Terms of Service and Conditions of Participation. These terms are legally binding and apply upon arrival at the event facility, whether or not formal registration or payment has been completed.
General Agreement
Entry onto the event grounds constitutes acceptance of:
• All event rules and policies
• A general waiver of liability
• Photo and video release
• Safety and conduct guidelines
Failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from the event without refund.
Competition Registration & Cancellation Policy
• Dog competition entry fees are $25 for the first competition and $5 for each additional category.
• All fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. severe weather, emergency closures).
• Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their first competition to check in.
• Dogs must be on a leash at all times and under handler control.
• Aggressive or disruptive dogs may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the event staff or safety personnel.
Liability Waiver
Attendees assume full responsibility for themselves, their children, pets, and belongings. By entering the premises, Attendees agree to hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, venue partners, and affiliated personnel from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation or attendance.
Photo & Video Release
By attending, you grant permission to Dogs & Deputies and its partners to use photographs, video, and likenesses of you and your pet for promotional purposes, including online, print, and social media.
